HELP ASAP

Problem 4: Exponent Pattern
Look for a pattern!!
1/2 + 1/22 = 3/4
1/2 + 1/22 + 1/23 = 7/8
1/2 + 1/22 +1/23 +1/24 = 15/16
a) What is :
1/2 + 1/22 + 1/23 + 1/24 + 1/25 + 1/26
+ 1/27 + 1/28 = ???
b) What is the pattern?

Answer is 255/256
let it's 15/26 = p/q, then
Pattern is Addition of p+q/2p , then after one series in LHS addition of p+q+2p/4p, then again p+q+2p+4p/ 8p

Simply It is p+q / 2p , 3p+q/4p , 7p+q/8p

khushal9351: assuming ,,in Arithmatic progression its 1,2,3,4,.........,n. but Harmonic Progresseion is just 1/arithmatic progression i.e. 1/1 , 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, 1/5, .........1/n
