You are a resident of Lucknow . the road that leads to your home often gets flooded during rainy season and path holes await accidents . you have complained various authorities but no steps have been taken . write a letter to the editor of newspaper highlighting the issue .

Subject : Bad condition of roads.
Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I would like to draw the attention of the civic authorities to the bad condition of roads in our locality.
It is unfortunate that the local civic authorities do not take care to provide the citizens with even the basic amenities such as good roads. In our locality, in every rainy reason gets flooded as well as the path holes are more prominent on the roads which leads to accidents. Since, students use this road as this connects the school , so the road is always busy hence, strong possibility to accidents arises. After every rain shower, water gets filled in these path holes which is unhygienic for the people living around it. As it paves way for the mosquitos to lay their eggs there. So, the number of mosquitos also increase rapidly.
I have complained various authorities about these problems but unfortunately no steps have been taken till now.
It is expected that instead of ignoring the issue, the authorities concerned will take immediate steps to ensure good quality of roads in our locality so that we citizens are able to live a disease free and stress free life.
