HELP!!

How does an individual figure the total force exerted on an object by two forces acting in opposite directions?


Subtract the smaller force from the larger force.


Divide the smaller force by the larger force.


Multiply the larger force by the smaller force.


Add the two forces together.

because both forces are acting opposite to each other so they will be negative to each other.
