CI = ₹ 1230 ; r =10/2 =5% ; p = ₹12000 ; n = 2t
CI = P(((1+R/100)^n)-1)
⇒1230 = 12000(((1+(5/100))^n)-1)
⇒1230/12000 = ((1+(1/20))^n)-1
⇒(41/400)+1 =(21/20)^n
⇒441/400 = (21/20)^n
⇒(21/20)^2 = (21/20)^n
∵ when bases are same , powers are also same.
∴ n=2
so, n=2t
=> t= n/2 = 2/2 =1
