(a). There are four nitrogenous bases in DNA, two purines (adenine and guanine) and two pyrimidines (cytosine and thymine).

(b). Gene are specific sequence of bases in a DNA molecule. In individuals of a given species, a specific gene is located on a particular chromosome. Each chromosome has only one gene.

(c). A single nucleotide is made up of three components: a nitrogen- containing base, a five- carbon sugar (pentose) ,and at least one phosphate group with all three joined, "a nucleoside phosphate" .

(d). Nucleosome are group of histone molecules surrounded by DNA strand.

(e). The four nitrogenous bases in the DNA ladder are Guanine, Thymine, Adenine and Cytosine. Genes are specific sequence of nucleotides on a chromosome.
