LCM of (p , q) =  a²b³
HCF of (p , q) =  a²b³
pq =  a²b³ × a²b³ = a^4 × b^6

LCM of (p , q) × LCM of (p , q) = a²b³ × a²b³ = a^4 × b^6 = pq
hence, verified

If the question is p = a²b³ and q = a³b
LCM of (p , q) =  a³b³
HCF of (p , q) = ab²
pq =  a²b³ ×a³b = a^5 × b^4
LCM of (p , q) × LCM of (p , q) =a³b³ × ab² = a^5 × b^4

Silu22: It's given in the sample paper.
SamuelKuruvilla15: Then the answer will be
Silu22: yaa i also thnk that the question is wrong.
SamuelKuruvilla15: hcf = a^2b and lcm = ab^2 and lcm * hcf = a^5 b^4
SamuelKuruvilla15: yes it is wrong
Silu22: tysm....!!!!
SamuelKuruvilla15: means
Silu22: thank you so much
