area of an isosceles triangle is
a= BH/2
area is given i.e.12 cm2
so 12=BH/2
b*h=24.........1
if we go through the option and choose 3rd option we get base as 6
so height must be 24/6=4............from1
so now
area of a triangle = 1/2*b*h
12 =1/2*24
12 =12
so
the option is correct base of a triangle is 6cm.....
