x²- (y+4) X+ 4y

x²- (4y) X + 4y

1.ax^3-3ax^2-x+3

took common ax^2 from first two term, took common -1 from last two term,

=ax^2 (x-3)-1 (x-3)

=(x-3)(ax^2-1)

2.x^2-(y+4)x + 4y

=x^2-xy-4x+4y

took common x from first two term and

took common -4 from last two term

= x (x-y)-4 (x-y)

=(x-y)(x-4)

hope you like it.
