Here, a circular cone is given in which

  • Radius of the right circular cone (r) = 4cm
  • Slant height of the right circular cone (l) = 5cm

Volume formula :

  • Volume of a right circular cone (V) = 1/3πr²h

We've to find Height (h) of the right circular cone.

As we know that :

Here is a right circular cone. So,

(l)² = (h)² + (r)²

Put the values in the formula

➟ (5)² = (h)² + (4)²

➟ 25 = h² + 16

➟ h² = 25 - 16

➟ h² = 9

➟ h = √9

➟ h = 3cm

Now, we'll find the volume of the cone.

➝ Volume of the right circular cone = 1/3 × 22/7 × 4 × 4 × 3

➝ Volume of the right circular cone = 22/7 × 16

➝ Volume of the right circular cone = 352/7

➝ Volume of the right circular cone = 50.28cm³
