Solution:-

We know that

Volume of cube = a³

Where a is length of side of cube

And

Surface area of cube = 6a²

According to question

=> a³ = 1728 cm³

=> a = 12 cm

Now

Surface area of cube = 6 a²

= 6 (12)² = 144 ×6

= 864 cm ² answer
