Step-by-step explanation:

By using substitution method

2x + y = 10 (I)

y = 10 - 2x

now

3x - 2y = 1 (II)

putting value of y

3x -2(10 -2x) = 1

3x - 20 + 4x = 1

7x = 20 + 1

x = 21/7

x = 3

putting value of x in equation (II)

3(3) - 2y = 1

2y = 9 + 1

y = 10/2

y = 5

Answer:

x=3 & y=4(BY ELIMINATING METHOD IF YOU WANT)

Step-by-step explanation:

2x+y=10...........(1)

3x-2y=1............(2)

multiply 2 to equation(1)

2(2x+y=10)

4x+2y=20..........(3)

Add equation (2) & (3)

= 3x-2y=1

=4x+2y=20

___________

7x=21

x=21/7

x=3

put x=3 in equation(1)

2x+y=10

2×(3)+y=10

6+y=10

y=10-6

y=4
