Now one of the trending news in India is Statue of Unity.
The Statue of Unity is a statue of Indian statesman and founding father Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in the Narmada district of Gujarat. It is the world largest statue, with a height of 182m. The statue is on a river-island facing tha Narmada Dam near Rajpipla.
The monuments and its surroundings occupy more than 2 heaters and are surrounded by 12km artificial lake. It was build by Larson and Turbo, who receive the contract for $450 million US dollar. The Construction was started in 31 October 2014 and completed in mid October 2018. It was designed by Indian sculptor Ram V. Sutar and was dedicated by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 31st October 2018, the 143rd anniversary of Patel Birth.
