The DNA does not get doubled during sexual reproduction. This is because the gametes involved in the reproduction are always haploid. In human beings, the sperm will have 23 chromosomes and the egg has 23 chromosomes. These gametes fuse together to form zygote which has is diploid and will have 46 chromosomes.

The male and the female gametes contain only half the number of chromosomes (23).Thus, during the sexual reproduction, when the male and the female gamete merge, the number becomes the normal number of gametes (46) for an individual. Thus, there is no doubling of DNA in sexual reproduction.
