Tan(A+B) = √3

TAN(A+B) = TAN 60

A+B. = 60. (1)

AND;

TAN (A-B) = 1/√3

TAN(A-B) = TAN30

A-B. = 30. (2)

SOLVING 1) AND 2) EQUATION

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

if (alpha+beta) and (alpha-beta) belongs to [0,pi/2] interval then,

tan(alpha+beta)=root 3 implies (alpha+beta)=60........(1)

tan(alpha-beta)=1 implies (alpha-beta)=45............(2)

subtracting equation (2) from (1) we get,

2 beta =15

6beta=45

tan 6beta=1

therefore the answer is option 3) 1
