first from triangle angle sum property find angle ACB
70+40+ABC=180
ABC=70°
So now ,90+x+70 =180. ( linear pair)
x=20°

as in above figure to find x we need to find angle BCE as whole and it is equal to 180 degree and we know that sum of the all interior side of a triangle is 180 degree so first add 40 degree and 70 degree i. e. 110 degree and subtract it from 180 degree so we will get the measure of angle c i. e. 70 degree so we got measure of two of the angles an
d let's add them i. e. 90+70+x=180
160+x=180
x=180-160=20 degree
