"The definition which we have given of a contract points out this •A contract includes a concurrence of the will of two persons at least, of whom makes and the other accepts the promise. Apollicitation is a promise which' is not yet accepted by him to whom it is made. The pdlicitation, according to the principles of mere natural law, produces no obligation, properly speaking. He who makes Gis pomise, may revoke it, as long as it is unaccepted by bim to whom it is made.
