yessss... because masss of positive ions is larger than negative ions... thats why the one which is chargd positively will have a greater mass

mysterioussanu: because more ions r there
Anonymous: Not more ions, more electrons would be there
mysterioussanu: yes.. negative ions
Anonymous: In electrostatics charge is developed only due to gaining of electron (-ve) OR losing of electron (+ve). So as electrons have some mass - ve charge body would have more of them therefore their mass is more.
Anonymous: When an atom or a molecule has -ve charge then they are called ions.
mysterioussanu: hey wave r u good in limits?
Anonymous: 11th maths? I guess ya i can solve the questions but i have actually taken biology as my subject.
mysterioussanu: ok plz check my questionsss in my box
mysterioussanu: btw black ur matrix question is done but i cant able to send the pic
Blackqueen: should i post the image again?@mysterioussanu

Yes! This is HC verma and ncert question. Actually when we give a charge of negative then the body gains excess elctrons and thus its weight increases and in tge opposite its just the opposite i.e. Weight decreases.
