Hlo friend.. Cutiepie Here..

Here is ur answer :

1. Volume of water tank =
lbh

Length = 4.2 m

Breadth = 3 m

Height = 1.8 m

V = 4.2 × 3 × 1.8

= 22.68 m³

Capacity of water tank, in litres = 22,680 litres ( 1 m³ = 1000 L)

2. Volume of 1 cube =
 {(side)}^{3}

Side = 0.5 cm

Volume of 1 cube = (0.5)³

= 0.125 cm³

Volume of a big cube = 8cm³

No. Of cubes =
 \frac{volume \: of \: big \: cube}{volume \: of \: 1 \: cube \: }

 = \frac{8}{0.125}

 = \frac{8000}{125}

 = 64

ANS - 64 cubes

3. Volume of cylinder =
\pi {r}^{2} h
Radius = r

Height = h

(a) Height is doubled.

Height = 2h

Radius = r

Volume =
\pi {r}^{2} 2h

Therefore, volume is increased 2 times.

(b) height is doubled and the radius is halved.

Height = 2h

Radius =
 \frac{r}{2}

Volume =
\pi { (\frac{r}{2}) }^{2} 2h

\pi \frac{r}{4} 2h

Therefore, volume will be halved.

(c) height remains the same and the radius is halved.

Height = h

Radius =
 \frac{r}{2}

Volume =
\pi (\frac{r}{2} )^{2} h

 = \pi \frac{r}{4} h

Therefore, volume will be one - fourth.

HOPE IT HELPS YOU...
