A) 3.2 N ; B) 16 N

Explanation:

A)pressure= force/area

force = 4 X 10 =40( force due to gravity)

area = 50 cm X 25 cm = 1200 cm = 12.5 m

now by substituting these values we get pressure= 3.2 N

B) following the same steps as above we get:

force = 40 N & area = 2.5 m

hence pressure = 16 N

CONCLUSION : pressure is inversly proportional to volume
