Heat absorbed from A to B
Here pressure is constant
So W = p (∆V) = 10( 400-200)/1000 = 2000/1000 = 2 J as volume in cc
So 10× 1000/ (400-200)10^6 = 2J
As W is zero For B- C
Lets calculate Internal energy change from A- C
As ∆U from A- B- C- A that is when it comes back to A is 0
(∆U) A- c + ∆U c-A = 0
Also Internal energy do not depend on path so from A- B- C
or A- C it will be same
Q = ∆U + 2
Q = 8
∆U = 8-2 = 6
Now From A to C
Lets find eq of PV
Slope = (20-10)/ 400-200 = 10/200 = 1/20
p -20 = 1/20 ( V- 400)
20 P - 400 = V-400
20 P = V
p= V/20
W = integration of P dv
= integration of V dv/20 ( limits 200-400)
= V ^2/40 ) limits 200-400
= 4000 -1000 = 3000
So w = 3000/1000 = 3J
Q = ∆U +W = 6 +3 = 9 J
