Given,
x²-6x+a=0
a,3 are the zeroes of the polynomial
⇒a+3 = 6 - - -(i)
a3 = a - - - - - (ii)

Given
3a+23 = 20 - - -(iii)
Solving (i) and (iii) we get
a = 8
Substituting these values (ii) we get
⇒(8)(-2) = a
⇒a = -16

POSITIVE: a,3 are zeroes of polynomial.......?? how...plz clarify a little plzz
shetriyas: The a,3 numbers in the polynomial are zeroes
POSITIVE: okay
POSITIVE: thks
shetriyas: welcome
