Q-To find the Number of Group in D-Block Elements
Number of elements in D subshell -1+Number of electrons in S subshell
Period number:
The Element has 3 as its quantum number
[tex]\implies[/tex]therefore it is 3rd period
D-Block Element
In d subshell this element will have 3 electrons.
In s subshell this element will have 2 electrons
so by the Above given Trick :
(3-1)+2
4
i.e This Element belongs to 4th group
