\huge\underline\mathfrak\red{ANSWER}

total \: area \: of \: cube = 6 {a}^{2}  \\  \\ where \: a \: is \: the \: edge \: of \: cube \\  \\ acc \: to \: question \: total \: area = 24 {cm}^{2}  \\  \\ 6 {a}^{2}  = 24 \\  \\  {a}^{2}  = 4 \\ a = 2cm \\  \\ diagonal \: of \: cube = a \sqrt{ 3}  \\  \\ diagonal \: of \: cube = 2 \sqrt{3}  \\  \\ volume \: of \: the \: cube =  {a}^{3}  \\  \\ volume \: of \: cube =  {2}^{3}  = 8 {cm}^{3}
