then the age hema is "x-7".

After 7years age of hema's brother is "x+7"

and age of hema is "x"years

given that after seven years sum of there ages is 37then

x+(x+7)=37

2x+7=37

2x=30

x=15

therfore present age of hema is (x-7)=15-7=8.
