The LCM of 15 and 3 is '15'

$\frac{2}{15} + \frac{1}{3}$

= $\frac{2+5}{15}$

= $\frac{7}{15}$

= 0.4666.. = 0.47

Let us find the value of another expression

$\frac{6}{7} - \frac{1}{3}$

The LCM of '7' and '3' is '21'

= $\frac{18-7}{21}$

= $\frac{11}{21}$

= 0.52

Since, 0.5 is more closer to $\frac{1}{2}$ than 0.47.

Therefore, $\frac{11}{21}$ is more closer to $\frac{1}{2}$ than $\frac{7}{15}$.

So, the expression $\frac{6}{7} - \frac{1}{3}$ is more closer to $\frac{1}{2}$ than $\frac{2}{15} + \frac{1}{3}$.
