Let us calculate the sum of \frac{2}{15} + \frac{1}{3}

The LCM of 15 and 3 is '15'

\frac{2}{15} + \frac{1}{3}

= \frac{2+5}{15}

= \frac{7}{15}

= 0.4666.. = 0.47

Let us find the value of another expression

\frac{6}{7} - \frac{1}{3}

The LCM of '7' and '3' is '21'

= \frac{18-7}{21}

= \frac{11}{21}

= 0.52

Since, 0.5 is more closer to \frac{1}{2} than 0.47.

Therefore, \frac{11}{21} is more closer to \frac{1}{2} than \frac{7}{15}.

So, the expression \frac{6}{7} - \frac{1}{3} is more closer to \frac{1}{2} than \frac{2}{15} + \frac{1}{3}.
