Philip and Zaheer are correct. Fertilization in a flower begins once it is pollinated. There are many different ways for a plant to be pollinated (two well -known ways are by bees and wind), but only when the pistil is pollinated does reproduction occur. Zaheer is correct as well because the whole purpose of reproduction of flowers is to make.... more flowers. Who would've thought? xd
