Here In books it is written that gandhi ji was not in favour of western education in India. He was against it. But then why did he himself took western education?

He was not in the favour of western culture and behaviour but was favour of western education he doesn't want to affect india with the culture of another country as a result we can see today it self what effect have been on us by following western culture we have been forgetting our own culture and running towards another culture
