hey mate
first I denote theta =x
sinx+cosx=√2sin(90-x)
sinx+cosx=✓2cosx
sinx=✓2cosx-cosx
sinx=cosx(✓2-1)
sinx/cosx=✓2-1
cotx =1/✓2-1
on rationalization
u get
cotx=✓2+1
