How can I easily solve upstream and downstream questions in maths class 10th..

Answer:

let a speed of boat be x

so, during upstream which means boat is moving against the flow of river water

so, new speed of boat will be ( x - speed of running water)

while in downstream, boat is moving with the flow of running water

so, here speed will be ( x + speed of running water )
