BUT I CAN TELL U THIS.

Heterocyst are specialized non green cells in nostoc which are concerned with nitrogen fixation...

They are non green bcoz, the oxygen produced during photosynthesis interferes with the nitrogen fixing process....it actually reacts with the N2 formed.....So, heterocyst are non photosynthetic..
