HETEROTROPHIC PLANTS ARE USUALLY PARASITIC THAT MEANS THAT THEY RELY ON OTHER HOST PLANTS AND TAKE NUTRITION FROM THEM AND USUALLY KILL THE HOST PLANT

Explanation:
Heterotrophic plants do not contain chlorophyll, so they can't prepare their own food. Since they cant prepare their food by the method of photosynthesis, so they depend on the other plants for their nutrition which can prepare their own food by the method of photosynthesis. Usually, the plants which can prepare their own foods are considered as the Autotrophic plant while which can't prepare their foods are heterotrophic.
Heterotrophic plant either consume the food prepared by the autotrophs or eat insects or waste materials.
