let the unit digit be "8-x"

let the tens digit be x

according to question : 10(8-x)+x = 80-10x+X = 80-9x

when interchange numbers : 10(X)+8-x

=10x+8-x

=9x+8

by the given conditions,

9x+8 = (80-9x)+18

9x+9x=80+18-8

18x=90

X=90÷18=5

tens digit =5

unit digit= 8-x

8-5

3

new number formed =35
