when we take x=0 than we get f(x)=2 so it is maximum value of f(x) when x > or equal to 0
but in question x>0 so we don't take x=0
so value of f(x)<2 and when we take 1than f(x) =-1 so value is decrease so range of f(x)when x>0. is.( -infinite ,2)
2 nd f(x)=x^2+2
when we take x=0 than f(x)=2 it is the smallest value of f(x)...
so rang of f(x) is [2,infinite)
