Hey MATE!!!

Number of ways in which 4 persons can be selected =12C4= 495

Now look for favorable cases.

Select one married couple (6C1=6 ways).

Select two persons from remaining 10 (10C2=45 ways). But these 45 ways also include 5 cases where both persons are a couple.

So, this has to be reduced and effectively, we get

45−5=40

Total: 6×40 =240

Required probability

= 240/495

= >16/33 Answer

Hope it helps
