calculate the mass of single atom of sulphur and a single molecule of carbon dioxide .

mass of single atom sulphur

1 mol of Sulphur is 32 grams of sulphur

the mass is 32/avogadro's number in grams..
(using the avacrdro constant) ⬇

=32/6.022x10to power 23=5.31×10to power -23grams

Mass of a single molecule of carbon dioxide can be said as... ⬇ 
( I used mole concept.)

CO2 is 12.0 + 2x16.0 = 44.0 g/mole 

44.0 g/mole x
(1 mole / 6.022x10^23 molecules) =
7.31x10^-23 g / molecule....

The mass of the single atom of sulphur is 32 and the mass of single Molecule of carbon dioxide is 44 .So total mass of both is 76.
