The main objective of treaty of Vienna come into existence during Napoleonic wars. The Bourbon dynasty restore its power which had been deposed during the French Revolution. To prevent the expansion of France in future, a number of states were set up on the boundaries of France.
(1) Bourbon dynasty was restored to power in France.
(2) The kingdom of Netherlands was set up in north and Genoa was added to Piedmont in the south.
(3) Prussia given new territories on its western frontier.
(4) Russia was given part of Poland, Prussia was given a part of Saxony.
