Mahatma Gandhi was born on 2nd of October, 1869 and died on 30th of January 1948. He was one of the vital contributors and a primary leader in the Indian Independent Movement which was destined to make India free from British rule. He also ensured the justice of Indians living in South Africa. He was born in Porbandar, India. He is believed to have worshiped Lord Vishnu as well as to follow an ancient religion named Jainism. He started learning more about various religions around the globe after his first stay in London. His full name was Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi.
B. R. Ambedkar, whose full name is Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar, was born on 14th of April 1891. He is also known by the name Babasaheb Ambedkar. He was the first minister of Law and Justice and his term of office was from 15th of August, 1947 to September 1951. He was a social reformer as well as a jurist and a politician. He was the person to inspire the Dalit Buddhist Movement. He is also considered as the founding father of the republic of India. He was also been honoured by India's highest civilian award i.e. Bharat Ratna in 1990.
The Temple Entry movement was one of those important movements which began in South after the victory of the Avaripuram movement. It emphasized on the disabilities suffered by the people of lower classes. The struggle of this socio-religious reforming movement was led by various intellectuals namely, N. K. Asan, Narayan Guru, T. K. Madhavan, etc.

1) MAHATMA GANDHI
=> Mahatma Gandhi is called as Father of nation because of his great works and greatness all through the life.
He was a great freedom fighter and non-violent activist who always followed non-violence all though his life while leading India for the independence from British rule.
He was born on 2nd October in 1869 at Porbandar in Gujarat, India. He was just 18 years old while studying law.
He studied law in the England. Later he went to South Africa to practice his law where he got differentiated from the light skin people. That’s why he decided to became a politician in order to do so some positive changes in such unfair laws.
2) B.R AMBEDKAR
=> The name of Dr. B.R Ambedkar brings to be our mind a social reformer . He belonged to the front ranking leaders of leader like MAHATMA GANDHI , PANDIT JAWAHARLAL NEHRU and SUBHASH CHANDRA BOSE who fought for the independence of India .
Dr. B.R Ambedkar had the distinction of getting higher education despite the many odds he had to face during the feudal Indian Society . But he faced all difficulties and rose to become a noted lawyer , a man of knowledge and wisdom . He was most pained at the cast - ridden society of pre independence period .
3) TEMPLE ENTRY MOVEMENT
=> Temple Entry Movement was started by Dr. B.R Ambedkar . This movement was started for untouchables .Non-Hindusister George , Bhajematharam Mathunni and Abdul Rahman came forward to offer Satyagraha. But Gandhiji did not accept any of these. Gandhiji wrote in the Young India on 24 April 1924, and 1 May 1924 against accepting outside aid.
