he is basically trying to tell that every 3d printer has only one principle which is : the object , at the end , is formed into a 3Dimensional model by adding layers of the same thing...or we have to repeat by layering the same flat thing and making it thick, hence making it a 3 dimensional model....

There is a printer known as a 3d Printer which enables you to print in 3 Dimensions . This printer is not the same as the ones we use to print things on paper . However this could be of great use when you need to do a heart transplant by printing a heart or an organ transplant by printing out an organ . You can watch a video on the internet on " 3 D Printing " if you still do not understand .
