A recipe for a dozen biscuits uses 240g of flour. Mrs Forster has 1.2kg of flour. How many biscuits can she make?

12/240

x/1200

Using ratio and proportion

12/240 = x/1200

240x = 1200 • 12

240x = 14400

x = 14400/240

x = 60

Therefore, Mrs. Foster can make 60 biscuits or 5 dozens.
