Let the name of the sherbats be A and B (for convenience)
Now,
The ratio of sugar and sherbat in A =5/100 =1:20
The ratio of sugar and sherbat in B = 8/100
=2:25
Let x L of A be mixed with y L of B.
So,
A/q
x+y=150
=> y= 150-x .............. (1)
Then, the amount of sugar in x L of A =
x/20
And the amount of sugar in y L of B = 2y/25
Again
A/q
x/20 + 2y/25 = 29/3 ........ (2)
Solve the system of equations to get the answers
Now,
