1. x-y = 2....eq 1.

3x + 4y = 5.......eq 2.

From equation 1,

x = y + 2...eq 3

Now, on putting the value of x in equation 2,

3(y+2) + 4y = 5

3y + 6 + 4y = 5

7y = -1

y = -1/7......●

From equation 3,

x = -1/7 + 2 = 13/7...●

2. 2x - y = 5

y = 2x - 5

On putting the value of y in equation 2,

3x + 2(2x-5) = 6

3x + 4x - 10 = 6

7x = 16

x = 16/7....●

On putting this value in y = 2x - 5

y = 2×16/7 - 5

y = (32 - 35)/ 7

y = -3/7.....●

1. x - y = 2 { 1 }

3x + 4y = 5 { 2 }

x - y = 2

x = 2 + y .. ( Put this value in 2 equation )

3x + 4y = 5

3 ( 2 + y ) + 4y = 5

6 + 3y + 4y = 5

6 + 7y = 5

7y = 5 - 6

7y = -1

y = -1/7.

Put this value in 3

x = 2 + y

x = 2 + ( -1/7)

x = 2 - 1/7

x = 2/7 - 1/7

x = 14 -1 /7

x = 13/7..

2. 2x - y = 5. (1)

3x + 2y = 6. (2)

2x = 5 + y

x = 5 + y /2 (3)

Put the value of 3 in 2

3x + 2y = 6

3 ( 5 + y/2 ) + 2y = 6

15 + 3y /2 + 2y = 6

Now you can Solve it..

I hope it help you...
