AD || BE

Therefore angle ADO = angle EBO ( ALTERNATE ANGLES )

And angle DAO = angle BEO ( ALTERNATE ANGLES )

Therefore triangle AOD Is similar to triangle BOE

so ratio of corresponding sides are equal.

BO / DO = BE / AD

BO / DO = BE / BC ( ; AD = BC, ABCD is a parallelogram )

1 / 2 = 1.5 / BC

BC = 3 cm
