Answer:

af/ag = ac/ad

diagonal of smaller square / side of smaller square = diagonal of bigger square / side of bigger square

let the side of smaller square be x

than the diagonal of smaller square will be √2x

In the second case let the side be x than the diagonal will be √2x which means that

af/ag = ac/ad

x/√2x = x/√2x

Hence, proved
