What is the disease in which the white spot produced in animal's eyes and they get blind?

Blindness affecting half of the field of vision. Hemianopia, also known as hemianopsia, may be caused by various medical conditions, but usually results from a stroke or brain injury. It may affect either the right or left side of the visual field and is usually permanent.
