Step-by-step explanation:

Given :-

There are four containers arranged in ascending order of their height. The height of the first container is 1/5th of the second container and the second container is 1/5th of the third container and the third container is 1/5th of the fourth container and the height of the fourth container is 25.25 cm.

To find :-

Find the heights of the other three containers?

Solution :-

Given that :

Height of the fourth container = 25.25 cm

Height of the third container

= 1/5th of the height of the fourth container

= 1/5th of 25.25 cm

= (1/5)×25.25

= 25.25/5

= 5.05 cm

Height of the third container = 5.05 cm

Height of the second container

= 1/5th of the third container

= 1/5th of 5.05 cm

= (1/5)×5.05

= 5.05/5

= 1.01 cm

Height of the second container = 1.01 cm

Height of the first container

= 1/5th of the second container

= (1/5)th of 1.01 cm

= (1/5)×1.01

= 1.01/5

= 0.202 cm

Height of the first container = 0.202 cm

0.202 < 1.01 < 5.05 < 25.25

Answer:-

The heights of the other three containers for the given problem are 0.202 cm ,

1.01 cm , 5.05 cm
