Buckminsterfullerene (C-60) one of the most famous allotrope of Carbon is actually a football - like structure which has all the sp3 hybridised carbon making it get structured as a three dimensional structure due to tetrahedral geometry of each carbon.

Now,
This structure is actually formed 3-D with the help of pentagonal and hexagonal carbon rings.
Each pentagonal ring is surrounded by other six hexagonal rings.
This can also be understood by having a look at the football wherein there's pentagons and hexagons and each pentagon is surrounded by 5 other hexagons but each hexagon is surrounded by pentagons as well as hecagons.
