1^2 = 1

2^2 = 4

3^2 = 9

4^2 = 16

5^2 = 25

6^2 = 36

7^2 = 49

8^2 = 64

9^2 = 81

10^2 = 100

and so on

Observe the units place of the squares.

You can see that the perfect squares end with 0,1,4,5,6 or 9.

They do not end with 2,3,7 or 8

The numbers given in the question all end with 3 or 7.

As perfect squares do not end with these nos., they are not perfect squares.
