Nylon is the only man-made fabric included here. Again the smoothness depends on the weave and the thickness of the thread. Nylon tends to be hot, rather than warm and does not 'breathe' like natural fabrics. The reason of cotton & woolen roughest and silk & nylon smoothest is molecular structure.
