1) Depression of freezing point is a colligative property.

2) Colligative property is propotional to number of moles or solute concentration in a solution.

3) solute concentration/number of moles of solute depends on association and dissociation i.e Vant Hoff's factor(i)

Depression of freezing point α i× concentration.

☆ Sucrose has 0.2 M solute concentration.

☆ KCl is ionic and dissociates to K^{+} and Cl^{-}. So, i=2

solute concentration is 2×0.2M = 0.4 M.

☆Glucose has 0.1 M solute concentration.

CaBr_{2} dissociates to Ca^{+} and 2Br^{-}. So, i=3 solute concentration is 3×0.2 M = 0.6 M

CaBr_{2} has highest solute concentration. Its freezing point depresses most. Which means it has highest negative or maximum freezing point.

sahil1531: bro same is the true for boiling point too??❗
sahil1531: bro you here?
KnowMyPain: Yeah. You can apply same logic.
sahil1531: thanks a lot Again bro☺❤
KnowMyPain: No worries bro
