Explanation:

Universe is expanding and you will be shocked to know that, expanding of universe is faster than speed of light. It clearly shows that we are at the beginning of this "Astronomy". So, Andromeda is our near Galaxy. And it is expanding too.

The reason behind its expanding is of many things--

1. The black hole which us at the centre of the andromeda has now weaker attractive power than previous time.

2. Dark energy" can be said the most important reason behind the Expansion of the galaxies and even universe.
